ABOUT ME

My orientation as a therapist is grounded in the belief that trust and connection are paramount to enabling exploration. Through exploration, we can uncover the depths of our innermost selves to heal, realize change, and find peace. As a therapist, I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds within the New York City and Philadelphia area. I received my masters in music therapy from the State University of New York at New Paltz. My credentials include a License of Creative Arts Therapy as well as a board certification in music therapy. My approach as a therapist is framed by my background as a music therapist combined with elements of depth-oriented psychotherapy and traditional talk therapy. In my work I utilize elements such as dream analysis, free association, and cognitive restructuring. I work with individuals facing a range of issues including depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues,  relationship issues, loss and grief, substance abuse, and history of trauma.
